As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw from various theories of psychological development and evidence-based therapeutic approaches to inform my practice: 

  • Psychodynamic approaches are used to understand how your development shaped your perception of yourself and others.
  • Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is used to help you reshape the beliefs, emotions and behaviors that causes you distress.
  • Mindfulness-based approaches are suggested to manage current feelings of distress, learn relaxation and increase awareness of the here and now.
  • Experiential and Somatic approaches are utilized to treat painful and traumatic memories that prevent you from reaching your potential.
  • Visualizations and guided imagery are powerful tools to help you imagine the desired change and act on it.
  • Logotherapy is used to integrate your spirituality by reflecting on your values, meanings and life purpose. These reflections mobilize you to move toward lasting behavioral changes
      based on your reasons for living. 
  • Solution-Focused Therapy is used to create specific action plans towards therapeutic goals.
